Today we are going to learn how to make the "Good Morning" pillow and the "Cali Girl" pillow which is something new and cool that I have never done before!

Good Morning Pillow

What you will need :

  • 2 white pillows
  • Fabric markers
  • Letter stencils
  • Tape
  • Measuring tape

Directions:

  1. Layout your design and tape your letter stencils together
  2. Measure the pillow to find the center
  3. Place the stencil in the center and tape it to the pillow
  4. Color the stencils in and remove

Cali Girl Pillow

What you will need:

  • White pillow
  • Neon Tumble DIY sprays
  • Foam Letter Stickers
  • Plastic or newspaper to protect the area you are working in
Directions:

  1. Stick your foam letter stickers to the pillow
  2. Spray your first 2 colors
  3. Place in the sun for about 20 minutes
  4. Spray your accent color in the middle to make the colors pop
  5. Place in the sun to dry for one hour
  6. Remove sticky letters
This project looked very fun to me and although I have never done it, I will soon. This is a great way to make your room look more put together and have more color to it. You can use any colors or phrases you want on these pillows which makes it all the more fun. These would be good presents too to give to someone in your family or even your friends. This would probably be more fun for teen kids to make or for people going into college to decorate their dorms.
I think for the "Cali Girl" pillow you could use just regular paint or fabric paint as well. I don't think you have to use specific "foam letter stickers", I think any sticker would work just as long as you can peel them off. Make sure not to put too much paint on the "Cali Girl" pillow because it will take a long time to dry and it will be easier to rub off on you.
Please tell me what type of paint you use for the "Cali Girl" pillow. Also let me know if you try the "Good Morning" pillow. I would love to see if you used different phrases or colors. I think this is a cool way to personalize your own room and hopefully you will see that too.
